OCEANOGRAPHY

After school on a warm day in June, we learned all about oceanography.

We cruised Boston Harbor on the Enviro-Lab, a U-Mass vessel designed for just that purpose!

We listened as our instructors explained the day's activities. We would operate instruments, gather data, and examine some of the animals found at the bottom of Dorchester Bay. We learned about all the instruments we'd be using during the cruise.

Next, we divided into groups, each of which had its own task to perform. After we were through, we would get together and see what the data told us.
